A PERFECT
PARTNERSHIP
Fort Peck Tribes, LECET
and the Montana Laborers
The Fort Peck
Reservation has a major problem with their drinking water.
They are rolling out a federally funded project of over $200
Million to correct it. They needed training for tribal
members who want to work on the MRI project, and the
Laborers Union, with LECET's assistance, offered their help. A Tribal Labor Agreement
ensued and training took place almost immediately.
Opportunity for both entities came together in a Perfect
Partnership.

Laborers and Employers
Working as a team, they
research and secure projects and jobs,
increase union-sector market share, advertise their services, jointly develop a
workforce, and advance their shared job and market-related interests.
NW LECET also conveys a simple message: being a
Construction Craft Laborer
means being devoted to quality, productivity, training, and safety.
